Class Descriptions
Basics
This class is for absolutely anyone of any age, shape or size to experience the many benefits of yoga. No experience or flexibility required. In this straight-forward and supportive class environment, you will learn basic yoga postures, art and benefits of breathing, correct positioning of postures within one’s own body, and how to incorporate props into your practice to increase the freedom and mobility of the body. We recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing when practicing yoga. No yoga experience necessary.
Level 1
This class will dive deep into a broader range of asanas with a non-aggressive approach and moderate pace which allows you to dissolve into a more open, graceful body and relax into a steady mind. This class is open to all levels, but due to the slower tempo it is appropriate for beginners who are ready to grow their practice as well. Yoga experience is recommended.
Level 1-2
This class explores the beginning stages of advanced poses while keeping a focus on developing stamina and flexibility. After learning the basics, we concentrate on jumping forward and back in sun salutations, binding, explore challenging asanas, arm balances, inversions, and more vigorous sequences. An ongoing practice is recommended. (Recommended for students with at least 6 months of practice.)
Level 2
In this more challenging yoga practice we build strength internally as well as externally. We cultivate concentration, confidence, and endurance. This class explores asanas with advanced variations and leads us to find our true inner potential by playing the edge while embracing the challenge. An ongoing practice is recommended. (Recommended for students with at least 6 months of practice.)
Relax & Release
This calming, therapeutic class uses gentle movement & props to support the body in order to deepen the benefits of poses. Anusara Inspired
This class is primarily inspired by Anusara Yoga®, which uses precise principles of alignment to promote safety and empower students to achieve their full potential. Each class interweaves heart oriented themes to connect students to the deeper purpose of yoga. The Sunday Anusara class, led by Matt Newman, takes this format & kicks it up a notch, adding a bit of spice to the mix.
Align
Align incorporates principles from Iyengar Yoga, giving students detailed guidance on proper alignment for postures, within a flowing sequence. Each class will have a different focus, and we'll take time within the flow to explore that particular element. A great way to refine your practice!

Each level is to be fully developed before proceeding to the next. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. Some yoga experience necessary.

This this less strenuous practice will help you to feel more relaxed, healthy, and happy through utilizing yogic postures, movements, breath work, and meditations. Little or no yoga experience necessary.

Master Classes
These special classes are offered by senior and master teachers from around the world and our own back yard. Longer than a normal class, each session has a particular theme.
